I really do love the equipment produced by 3 Legged Thing. Some of the equipment I own is their first generation.
Like this Air Hed 1.
One of the things that I found with this tripod head is that I would sometimes confuse the knob of the clamp with the other knobs on the head.
It was only recently that it occurred to me that I could replace the old clamp for a more modern one.
Undoing the hex screw is all it takes to do the swap.
And now my tripod head is like “new”.
